Monetary istance program for people with limited health care coverage?
I live in the state of california, age 64, not yet covered under medicare (age 65) and have limited insurance coverage. I have just recently been diagnosed with a disease where they doctor says I need to have a bone marrow transplant at the City of Hope Hospital, and I'm sure the procedure would be far more than my insurance would cover. Does anyone know of any program, State or Federal or otherwise that helps supplement the medical cost of this? Some kind of obscure monetary istance program that isn't really mentioned or talked about...Please, I'm hoping someone might have some information, I Greatly appreciate your thoughts.
