New Hairstyle For High School?

I have an oval shaped head and am quite tall with olive-skin and dark eyes. My current hairstyle is straight hair that reaches about half way down my back with a side fringe. I was thinking of going for like a mid-length, beach wavey do with a full fringe, kind of like Nicole Richie's? But any suggestions are welcome. I would like quite a big change to my hairstyle for high school.
