Verve Eyeliner Sharpening?

Okay, so i bought this super good eyeliner the other day and its called Verve Eyeliner. It was pretty expensive HK$45 and around US$6.5. The case of the eyeliner is plastic and i dont know what would happen once i finish it completely.. but is there a way to sharpen it and make it longer? Cause paying that about of money for a 5 milimeter use of eyeliner is... well... f***ed up...
