Did I pay too much for this Dell Laptop?

poor thing. why did u choose dell? dell just got sued by the u.s. federal government for contract voiding and poor customer service. I bought a gateway that does just what ur dell does for $645. all this hype about a good laptop, is all bogus. ALL electronics fail due to different reason.
