Can a ghost rob you of your energy?

Ok this might sound kinda silly but, i believe i have some sort of entity following me around, its been there for about four years, im pretty sure i know who it is but then again im not too sure, i can't see it or hear it but i can feel it, it snuggles up behind me at night, its very very comforting to me soooo comfortable that i almost never wanna get up in the morning cause i love the warmth it gives me, it seems to be there all the time, i don't think he ever leaves, but hes the most noticeable at night, hes always behind me it seems and i think i love this silly thing but whenever i try to communicate with it or get real close to it i feel very exhausted in the morning and i dont really wanna go anywhere or do anything, why is this?
